While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the Site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary.

When You use the Site or send emails or other data, information or communication to us, You agree and understand that You are communicating with us through electronic records and You consent to receive communications via electronic records from us periodically and as and when required. We will communicate with You by email or by an electronic record on our Site which will be deemed adequate service of notice / electronic record. Any dispute or formal communication must be sent to our official email for proper documentation.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE USER

No cancellation once the order is placed.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS

At Tehzeeb - The House Of Chikankari, each piece is exclusive, hand-embroidered, and requires months to years to craft. Once a client confirms an order and an official confirmation email has been sent, the item is considered booked. Payment confirmations and booking details will be sent via email or WhatsApp for client’s reference. The client is required to make the token or full payment as per the communicated terms.

If the client fails to make the payment or token payment within the stipulated time, Tehzeeb - The House Of Chikankari reserves the right to hold back any ready pieces, even those for which payments have been made, until all outstanding dues (token or full) are cleared. This policy ensures fairness to artisans and customers alike, preventing delays and last-minute cancellations for exclusive pieces reserved specifically for individual clients.

BILLING

As a small-scale handcrafted business, we currently do not charge GST.
Prices mentioned are final and inclusive of all applicable charges unless otherwise stated.

DELIVERY

Our products are handcrafted and made to order.

At Tehzeeb – The House of Chikankari, every piece is made to order and carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans, often over several weeks or months. Delivery timelines vary depending on the complexity of the embroidery, availability of materials, and the artisan’s pace of work. While we generally estimate a delivery window of 3 to 4 months, certain orders may take longer due to:

The intricacy of the design
Customisation and client-specific requirements
Unforeseen delays such as weather conditions, festival closures, or artisan unavailability due to health or personal emergencies.

We deeply value the slow, artisanal nature of this craft and appreciate your patience in honouring the time and effort invested in each piece.

Please note:
Due to the bespoke and handcrafted nature of our products, cancellations, refunds, or exchanges will not be possible in case of any production or delivery delays.Estimated timelines will be communicated at the time of booking, and any significant delays will be updated proactively.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE

NO RETURN

1- Our garments are all on a made to order basis. Once your order is placed, we do not offer any exchange or returns for an incorrect purchases or change of mind.

2- No replacement will be accepted.

3- Returns are not possible for colour exchange. Please be sure of the colour before placing order.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We do not offer merchandise exchanges and/or returns on orders shipped internationally. In the unlikely event that any merchandise you have ordered from us is not received in good condition, is damaged or defective, or if merchandise delivered is different size from what you had ordered, please reach out to us at tehzeebthehouseofchikankari@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the order.

TAXES & DUTIES

For Indian Customers
Product Prices are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

For International Customers

Most countries are shipped to on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.

LEGAL ENTITY

Tehzeeb – The House Of Chikankari is a sole proprietorship currently operating under individual ownership. All official communication should be directed to our registered email address: tehzeebthehouseofchikankari@gmail.com.

We do not disclose personal contact numbers or internal team details in order to maintain privacy and ensure uninterrupted workflow. All queries will be addressed professionally through our designated communication channels.
